drea brown is a Hollins alumna, queer Black feminist poet-scholar whose writing has appeared in journals and anthologies such as 《坚守阵地：献给玛丽莎·亚历山大和特雷沃恩·马丁的诗, 史密森尼杂志, 南印第安纳评论, 贝灵翰姆评论, and 关于地方日志. drea is the author of 亲爱的姑娘：算账, winner of the Gold Line Press 2014 chapbook prize, and co-editor of 黑人教学:黑人生活和文学教学的技巧 (University of Pittsburgh Press, 2021). Their newly released monograph 《招魂：黑人女性的诗学 (University Press of Mississippi, 2025), explores the role of haunting in Black women’s literature and lived experiences.
